Reaper, a Digital Audio Workstation , is a relatively new project that is still powerful and flexible for those who want to create music on their computer.

The program allows us to edit and record audio and MIDI. It also lets us use VST/VSTi effects and virtual instruments in VST/VSTi format. We can also work with REX files. You can automate any element simply by drawing it with the computer.

This is all from an intuitive, attractive, and practical interface. It allows you to drag any element from Windows Explorer, insert effects, create samples, or add new tracks to a MIDI instrument.

The ReWire connection (that lets us create a link between Reaper, Reason and Ableton Live amongst others), compatibility with ASIO, MME sound cards and real-time effect processing, sidechain and an assortment of effects and instruments that allow us to use the program immediately after we have installed it.

Reaper is a great application for composing, recording, mixing, mastering and mastering your music. It's very user-friendly.
