Nintendo doesn't want to take its iconic characters and hits beyond its consoles. There are very few exceptions like Super Mario Run for iPhone or Android. There are many developers who create alternatives to original video games like this Breath Of the NES on Windows.

This adventure game is based on The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. It can't yet be downloaded for Windows so Winterdrake decided to create his own. It's different from the original, as you can see.

This tribute to Breath Of The Wild was actually a demonstration development by the coder. If you want to get Zelda on your PC, this is a good option. It runs well, takes up very little space and respects the original gameplay.
